Sunday Afternoon

When we got home from church on Sunday, Bailey and Beau were playing on the floor together and it was too cute. Bailey is really starting to play with Beau a lot more, probably because he's finally laughing and responding to her. I love my kids they are the cutest things ever. Bailey cracks me up all the time. Her face expressions are enough to put a smile on anyone, her personality is out of control, and she is talking a ton. Her latest thing she says when she drops something is... "Ohhh mannn!" Where she got that from I'm not sure, but I love it! Beau is getting so big, time sure goes by fast. He is such a sweetheart, he's pretty much always happy and to get a smile out of him you just have to talk to him.

Look at the color difference in their skin tones, Bailey sure got the olive skin, Beau, I'm not quite sure what happened, but there's not much olive there. (now I do take into consideration he wasn't in the sun much this summer, but I'm still not holding my breathe that he'll be as dark as Bailey).

Look at that face!

Girls Trip (& Beau) to Seattle

I went away for the weekend with two of my close friends from high school. (Gloria & Stacey) Gloria lives about 3 hours outside of Seattle in Kennewick, WA so we decided to go get a hotel in Seattle for a few days. I took Beau with me since he's so little still and left Bailey with Jeremy.

We had so much fun just relaxing, EATING, shopping, EATING, shopping, EATING, and relaxing. Being with two pregnant women who need to eat a little more often than most, made it so we ate a lot. And, yep, I ate every time they did even though I probably didn't need to. I decided we need to get a Cheesecake Factory in Utah, we ate there twice we liked it so much, and boy did we eat. For the record don't ever get there Strawberry shortcake dessert to yourself, it's definitely one to share or you'll go home sick, which I did and was stuffed.

They had these painted pigs all over the city, why, I'm not really sure, but we had to get a picture with one.
We also went down to Pike's Street, it's their public market. They have the most gorgeous bouquets of flowers for $5, $10 & $15. If I lived close to something like that I'd buy a new bouquet every week. They also had the best fresh fruits, veggies, and seafood, and tons of little handmade trinkets. There were quite a few people singing on the street. The guy playing the guitar was awesome. He was jammin' and had the best raspy, blues voice, I gave him a couple bucks and had to have my picture with him.

Beau was a little angel! He was super happy the whole time and took great naps in the stroller. He fit great in the bathroom sink for his bath, which he loved. He was a great travel partner.

It was such a great weekend with two of my closest friends, we reminisced a ton and made new memories. Thanks Stacey & Gloria, I had a blast, we'll have to do it again in between kids and pregnancies. (I guess we're at that stage in our life where we schedule trips around babies)

Payton's 4th birthday!!!

Well this is my first post with pictures included. I decided I might as well start out thanking all of our family that helped us celebrate Payton's 4th birthday. They were all so great to come and hang out at his grave for a little while. All of the cousins love to go to Payton's grave and visit him.

This year I bought about 35 balloons so that almost everyone could have one to let go in the sky. The kids loved it and it was fun to watch the balloons until they disappeared. Then we had suckers and squishy balls with smiley faces on them for all the kids, to remind them that Payton is happy and when they think of him they have to smile. The kids love talking about Payton, where he is and what he's doing and how he's their guardian angel.

So, thanks to everyone for coming!

After I added the pictures I'm finding out what format and layouts I like, so I'm still in the learning process, sorry.

No willpower!

I gave in and here it is the Peterson family blog. Really, I don't have time to do this but I decided since it's free and it will most likely keep me up later than I already am then, why not!
No, really I think it's the best way for me to keep grandparents, and greatparents, and others not close by up to date on our LIFE. So here goes...

Now I'm not making any promises to update this daily or even weekly, but I will whenever time allows. With two kids and my photography business booming (that blog (photography blog) will be coming sooner than later, I'll let you know) I will post new pics and news when I can.
