Easter outfits, egg hunts, & candy!

I always loved getting a new Easter dress to wear to church on Easter Sunday when I was growing up, so I'm carrying on the tradition with my kiddos. I've bought about 3 outfits for both Bailey and Beau, returned, bought again, and so on. These are the ones I finally decided on. I love my kids and when Bailey puts on a dress she just spins around and lights up. Beau just hates getting dressed all together.

How sweet is that!?

I tell you it's always easier taking pictures of other people's kids, I cannot get the pictures I want of my own kids, I have to be super quick to get anything. So here's a random one!
How lovely... Bailey's starting to give me nice cheeser smiles when I pull the camera out, and Beau just stares at me wondering why I'm making crazy noises to get him to look in the right direction.
Beau's sweet little half smile, and one of Bailey's poses she does when the camera comes out. She sticks one hip out a little smiles but looks at the ground, not me. (you can't really see her hip poking out but it is a little).
Looking for eggs around the house.
Checking out her eggs she found.
Beau with his eggs.

Beau finally being willing to crawl on the grass, he hated the grass the first time he touched it, so this is good progress.

The annual egg hunt at the Peterson's! Some of the cousins waiting, "patiently" for everyone to come out, and the countdown to the quick dash for eggs!And... our fabulous family picture. So this is Easter 2008, Beau trying to crawl away, Bailey trying to run away, and Jeremy and I just smiling and ready for that "perfect" family shot, that didn't happen.

Washington girls trip, again!

A couple of weeks ago, Stacey and I flew up to "surprise" Gloria with a visit to see her and her cute family. She just had another little girl, Chanel (there are more pics of her on my photoblog).
Girls trips are so needed. They just rejuvenate you and give you some new found energy to do everything us moms do. It was so much fun, from all the reminiscing, to Beau poking Jackson's eyes out, to me getting carsick (so annoying) and our fun TJ Maxx shopping spree, it was so much fun. Thanks for the memories girls!

This is Gloria's oldest, Jadyn, look at those curls! She is the funniest little girl I know and she's way too smart for her age! She's a little sweetheart!

Here's her second, Gunnar! He is one tough little guy, and once again the curls. I think there's no chance for Chanel to get straight hair with Brad and Gloria's curly hair. Gunnar has the sweetest little voice ever.

The three of us! Me, Gloria, and Stacey. I don't know why we didn't take any pictures of us the whole weekend until 10 minutes before we left to go back to the airport. So this is the only one we have. This is Gloria's new little girl, Chanel. We go some cute pictures of her, she looks just like her older brother and sister.

Here's Stacey's little guy, Jackson. He is a good baby and happy all the time.

This is the only picture I took of Beau the entire trip, I'm not the best when I'm on vacation, I need to do better. But I'm sure it'll be alright I think I have plenty of pictures of him doing everything else.

Princesses, girls, & fun!

Last Friday night my mom, me, and Bailey, and my long time friends from High School, Susan and Stacey and their girls and their moms, all went to see Disney Princesses on Ice! I wasn't sure if Bailey would be old enough to enjoy it yet. That question was answered the second we sat down and Tinkerbell came out on the ice and Bailey yelled "Tinkerbewwell, Tinkerbewwell." She was hooked from, Tinkerbell, to Ariel, to "NO, NO, Bad witch" (Ursula), all the way through. She LOVED it, and I LOVED watching her.
I seriously got emotional at the beginning just seeing her so excited and so happy, it was an awesome proud, happy mom moment. My girl is the cutest thing ever, I love her so much, and it's so fun to be a kid again with her.

Mimi (my mom and the best Grandma ever), me and Bailey with her super excited face!
Tinkerbell came out between every scene and Bailey loves her. I only took my little canon powershot camera so the resolution and the pictures themselves are nothing exceptional. (I'm getting too spoiled and used to my nice camera)
The coloring book Bailey picked out of all the toys and souveniers. Thanks, MIMI!

This was Bailey's face most the way through the show, just staring in amazement.

She couldn't wait to color in her new book, luckily MIMI had a highlighter that worked great! And pink for that matter.
The GIRLS! Me, Susan, and Stacey, it's been way to long since we've had a picture of the three of us. I think since High School, pretty sad.
Us and our girls, the best one we could get, it was late and everyone was tired.
Bailey, me, Stacey, Aubrey, Sydney, Brooklyn (hiding her face) and Susan.

Runnin' in the sun!

I love my cute husband, he is such a good dad, friend, husband, and a great motivator to get off our couches and get movin'. Swimsuit season is coming and we gotta get in shape. (For those of you that know Jeremy it has to be his idea to work out, know one else's, but he's on a roll and he's getting in shape!)

I am so happy that the sun is finally out, (most days), and I hope it's here to stay. The other day Jeremy got home from work and decided to take Beau on his run with him. Beau loved it and Jer liked running outside instead of on a treadmill.

Tagged, again, and again, and again...

Okay, so I guess since I've been tagged by a few different people now I better do it, I was going to try to pretend that I didn't see my name on "THE TAG LIST", like I have time to do this, but I guess I'll make time. So, here goes!

I was a senior at BHS (Brighton High School) and was most likely planning my college experience, where to live, who to live with, and what classes to take at UVSC. Just being a regular High school senior.

5 things on my "to do" list today...
1. Go to Costco to buy formula and probably spend atleast $100 in other stuff that I could probably live without, but how often do you get out of Costco spending less than that?
2. Unpack from my trip to Washington with Stacey to visit Gloria.
3. Do laundry, mop kitchen floor
4. Edit pictures
5. Finish taxes and get a new credit card with better benefits than my Nordstrom card (Jeremy thinks that 's a useless card, but I love it when I get my Nordstrom bucks! Anyone know of any really good credit card with good rewards?)

5 snacks I enjoy...
1. grapefruit
2. Snackwells vanilla creme cookies
3. white cheddar cheetos
4. string cheese
5. yogurt and cottage cheese

5 places I have lived...
1. Houston, Texas
2. Salt Lake City
3. New York (for a summer)
4. Provo
5. Orem

What would I do if I were suddenly a Billionaire????
Pay off everything I own, buy a new house with a room for a killer studio, and a huge yard, buy a new wardrobe, go to Hawaii with all my friends and their spouses and pay for everything for all of them, help anyone out who needs it, buy gifts for people all the time, I love giving gifts and would give more if I had the money.

5 jobs I have had.
1. Stock girl at Nordstrom
2. Footlocker
3. Abercrombie & Fitch
4. Camp counselor
5. Franklin Covey, Frontline Phonics, Pizza Factory, Kiddie Kandids,
Best job, photographer! ( I know I've had a lot of jobs)

Five Favorite TV Shows....
1. The Hills ( I know I'm probably to old for it but I do like it)
2. The Biggest Loser
3. So you think you can dance
4. Brothers and Sisters
5. Ellen Degeneres

10 minutes with Dad in charge!!

Okay, so Jeremy came home for lunch the other day and I had to run something over to my friend just around the corner. I left the kids with him and told him I'd be right back. Seriously, I wasn't gone for more than 10, maybe 15 minutes and this is what I saw when I walked back into the house.
Honestly I started laughing right away and ran to grab my camera.

Bailey had pulled the rest of the Top Ramen off the stove (thank goodness it wasn't hot) and was sharing it with her brother on the floor. Isn't she such a good big sister!!!!! Beau had the ladle and was just spreading it across the floor. He was having a blast.

Yes, she is drinking it straight out of the pan.
He really didn't know what all the fuss was about he was just following his sister around, like he always does. (I have a feeling this isn't the first of the messes ahead, knock on wood...)
This girl sure loves her "doodles" as she calls her noodles. She had to get every last drop!
