What?

Jer: Um , Amanda did you put Beau in his highchair?

Me: No, why?

Jer: Well, come and look at this!

I walked down into the kitchen and there's Beau in his highchair that he climbed into by himself. One foot in and one foot out! It couldn't of been that comfy, but he did it all by himself and I'm glad I didn't see how he got there.
His new thing is to climb up on a chair and then onto the kitchen table, so I'm guessing the climb on the high chair was somewhere in that mix. Just like the last post, I can't take my eye off of him!!!

Just thought I'd do a quick post since I'm so behind...

need to add Stadium of Fire, Yellowstone trip, BYU football women's clinic, and the most recent photo shoot (if you want to call it that) of my own kids. They get neglected since I'm shooting everyone else's pictures! So hopefully I'll get around to at least one of these posts in the next week, if not don't hold your breath.

Best Buds

Everyone always told me when I was pregnant with Beau that I would love having Bailey and Beau so close in age. (They are only 16 months apart.) For the first little while I kept wondering when the love for the closeness in age would come, the first 6 months was pretty hard. But now these two are FINALLY starting to love each other and love to play with each other.

These pics are right after Beau woke up from a nap and Bailey was laying on the couch. He came down and went straight to her and just laid on her chest and she just hugged him. Jeremy yelled to me to grab the camera, and I'm so glad I did. How cute is that!

I just can't take my eye off this one!

I tell ya, Beau is the busiest little 14 mth. old around. He gets into everything. I turned around to wash some dishes the other day and all of a sudden the house was pretty quiet. You know when it's quiet the kids are up to something. Well Bailey was just playing in the backyard, but Beau found Bailey's unfinished yogurt and decided to "TRY" and feed himself. I think he got more on the floor and his face than he did in his mouth. But, he loved it and had fun, and I had a blast cleaning it up!!!

Sticky, sweaty, diaper buddies!

I won't be complaining about no consistent warm days anymore. We've got plenty of sunshine now. The kids were so ancy this afternoon so I took their clothes off, gave them popsicles, and sent them in the backyard to explore. They both love to sit on the shed porch and just hangout. The only downfall is they get slivers easily on it. Anyway, I just couldn't pass up this photo op, these are some of my favorite shots, when it's just real life. Bailey and Beau are becoming such good buds, I love watching them play together.

Ooohh, I love my kiddos!

Look at the difference in their skin color, Bailey is so lucky, she has the most beautiful skin, Beau's isn't bad but nothing like Bays, she is so stinkin' dark.
Bailey was showing Beau an ant about to crawl on his foot.
This boy loves, loves, loves food, especially if it's sweet and cold.
Yummy!
I really need to start potty training Bailey soon, I think I need to convince myself I'm ready to go through the training part more than I do her. If anyone has any good advice or ideas on getting started, please share. I'm open for any help I can get to get at least one kid out of diapers.

Day of fun!

Well we decided to spend a day at Lagoon! Actually 2 days (the first day with the kids and the 2nd day without) and that was plenty of Lagoon to last me a couple of years.

Take note if you get motion sickness...

So I get motion sickness pretty easily so the first day I took a dramamine and it worked great, didn't get sick at at all. The second day I started getting a little car sick in the car on the way to Lagoon so I pulled out the Dramamine to take one for the day and decided, what the heck, since I'm already feeling a little sick I'll take two. So an hour or so after we got to Lagoon I was really tired and couldn't figure out why. Then it hit me, does Dramamine make you tired??? Well it sure does, I could hardly walk, let alone see straight, I went on ride after ride and nothing phased me at all. I think I could've fallen asleep on the free falls. So don't ever take two Dramamine unless you are trying to fall asleep.

Anyway, Bailey loved the rides and had tons of fun. Beau just hung out and was the happy little guy that he is. As long as he has food and can walk around throwing stuff, he's happy.

This was the beginning of our day, Bailey woke up on the wrong side of the bed, but it only took her one ride to be happy.

My kids look so big to me here, time sure goes by fast. Bailey is now 2 1/2 and Beau is 14 mths.
Me and my li'l buddy!
This is about the best kind of pictures I get of Bailey, she's such a stinker and won't open her eyes all the way if she's looking at me or she'll just look away and smile. But you can see she got happy pretty quick.
Handsome little guy just walking around looking for something to climb on.
Me and Bailey, I love this girl, she is so funny and we have so much fun together.

Of course we had to take a picture of ourselves, here's Jer and me.
Bailey, Beau, and their cousin Amanda. This was one of the few rides Beau went on. Amanda was such a big helper with him.
Bailey and Amanda on the airplanes.
This was way too funny to watch. On the back row on the right is Bailey, her cousin Sierra (they're kinda hard to see) Jeremy, and my brother in law, Will. In front of them is Brielle, & Tyler (cousins) and my brother in law, Mike, and the two girls hangin on for dear life are cousins, Amanda and Ashlyn. The kids were lauging so hard and so were the adults, but I think the adults were happier when the ride was over. I can't do this one it makes me so sick.

This is the little kids free fall in the kiddie land section. I was a little nervous for Bailey thinking she wouldn't like it but she loved it, and wanted to go again.

I think this was Bailey's favorite, she was singing, laughing, and making crazy faces the whole time, it was so cute to watch her.

The old and the new (kids that is!!!)

Good times...
I got together with some of my old high school friends, some that I haven't seen since we graduated 10 years ago, and some it's been a few years. We had a great time catching up on everyone's lives, chasing all the kids we've had and are still having, (holy cow there's lots of them) and reminiscing a little about the good old days.

Girls you can take these pictures for your blogs if you want (I'm sure you don't want all the one's with me but if your in it, feel free). They're not full res. so they're not printable, if you're in the picture I'll be emailing the full res. file soon.

A few of the girls kiddies which of course we all had such cute kids!

Me and Sara

Jill, me and Michelle (sorry your eyes are closed Jill it's the only one we got)

The two little scroungers, my Beau and Sara's Addie kept eating anything and everything they could get their hands on.
Girls it was a lot of fun to see everyone, we better do it again sooner than later.

Oh the warm days!

This picture was actually taken about a month ago when it was warm, do you remember? I am so sick of this weather. One because I just want to take my kids outside and not get rained on or blown away. But I guess that's what happens when you live in Utah, it's 80 degrees one day and it snows the next, so whatever... we'll enjoy every warm day we get.
My kids could live in water, water is the best toy ever. They had tons of fun playing with a few cousins and neighbor friends in the kiddie pool in the backyard.

Rock Your Day!

You might notice that I just added a little new section called Daily Reads right above my friends and family link list. I found the coolest blog where a mom and wonderful women that I've only briefly met once before, started a blog called "Rock your day". It's all about the Book of Mormon. You can go on click on the link to the chapter, read the chapter, and then go back to her own commentary and others comments about the chapter for the day. She does a post every single day about one chapter starting in 1 Nephi. I've been doing it for 5 days straight now and I love it and am getting so much out of the Book of Mormon this time through. (I'm only on CH. 5 but I really am getting more out of it, and I look forward to her comments. They make sense! So check it out if you want, just thought I'd share.

Bailey's First Big Boo Boo!

Yesterday Bailey was running in and out of the house and fell two steps down off our front porch and landed flat on her forehead onto the cement. I hated seeing it happen and it broke my heart to see her get hurt.
Here's the picture from last night and then today. Her goose egg was almost the size of a golf ball. Today the swelling had gone down some and she was much happier.

I love my girl so much and am so thankful that she didn't get hurt any worse than she did.

Embrace LIfe!

So lately I've been thinking a lot about life. It's so often that we get so caught up in the normal routine of our busy days that we forget about the most important things and really what we should put on the top of our priority list.
This picture is the only picture I have of Payton out of his "one year" pictures that I took. Why??? Because I hadn't had my digital camera too long before I took these and I was loading all of them on my in laws computer. (It was a lot faster and newer than ours at the time). I had printed this one picture out for the grandparents but hadn't burned a CD of the rest. Somehow my mother in laws computer got a virus on it and there was no way to recover the lost pictures. So yes this is a scan of the original, and it's a picture I cherish.

On this memorial day we will be thinking and reminiscing of our great memories we have of our sweet little angel boy. I miss him so much and always wonder what he'd be like today. But, I am so thankful for the 14 1/2 months I had with him here on this earth. He really was an angel! I also think about Payton and how I really need to reach out and go the extra mile in service to others, studying the gospel more, and always living and doing things that allow me to grow and strengthen my testimony. (sorry I'm getting a little deep here)

So embrace life, get your priorities in order, and learn from my mistake and make sure you burn all of your pictures onto CD's before you erase them off of your memory cards. (since pretty much everyone shoots digital now).

My next goal is to take all of my CD's and thousands of pictures and have them printed. I'm embarrassed to admit it but I've hardly printed any of Bailey's or Beau's pictures. They are all on my external hard drive and on CD's. So lets print and preserve our memories. This post was mostly for me to give myself a good kick in the pants to get myself started on scrapbooking and organizing again. So... thanks for listening.
