Taking after his older brother...

Ok...
So this post is thanks to Shelby, and she'll know what I'm talking about, it would take way too long to explain.
To sum things up without typing a novel, after some tears and an emotional trip down memory lane (brought on from looking here) I ended up looking at some pictures of Payton when he was 10 mths. old to compare them to Beau right now, since he'll be 10 mths. old on March 1st.
Wow, they do look more alike than I thought and look at this. Payton always, had his finger in his mouth, and Beau just the same. It's kinda crazy but I love it, I love that Beau is taking after his brother in little subtle ways. (the nose, the eyes, the skin, etc.)
After talking to Shelby tonight about this little boy Charlie Cooper that's really sick and fighting with all he has. After looking at the pictures of this little boy in the hospital, it was hard, because the blonde hair and the blue eyes resemble my sweet angel quite a bit. After my good cry I had, in the end it felt good. It's good to cry, and it helped me feel so close to Payton tonight. So, thanks Shelby for talking.
When you have a good 1/2 hour you'll have to go on this little boys site and read about him, starting from the beginning. I haven't read it all but Shelby says it's worth it, just grab the tissues. Then say a quick prayer for this family I KNOW it will help Charlie and them.

Payton in San Diego in June of 2004, out by the pool at our hotel. We went there to watch two of Jeremy's sisters run the San Diego marathon.

Beau in February of 2008, just sitting on my bed.

I don't know that I've ever told you this, but I feel like it's appropriate now. Zach and I have always admired the strength and wisdom you and Jeremy have shown us...we had just merely paid attention to your examples of faith from the outside when we were in the same ward. Hearing your testimonies and even Jeremy touching a little bit on your lives in our temple prep. class was amazing to us. And honestly, your examples are with us forever.

Oh Amanda! Just when I think my life is crazy stressful. You remind me that there are moments...events so powerful that you can't taken anything for granted. And most things in life really aren't that big of a deal. I love the pictures of your two boys. You guys make beautiful children. Thanks for being so real and sharing the ups and downs! love you.

Amanda, they really look so much alike. After reading about that little boy, Charlie, (I need to read more in detail later) and holding Tanner - who we almost lost- on my lap, I just can't thank you enough for your sweet post and example. When Tanner was in the hospital (you can read about it on our blog back in Aug.) I just couldn't get you off my mind- thinking about all you guys went through, and the strength and faith you have. thanks for that- it has had more impact on us than you know:)

Wow-what handsome boys! :)I was looking for some magnets that we had on our fridge in our old house and found Peyton's birth announcement that we had on our fridge until we moved. It made me smile.
You are an amazing lady and mom and I am so grateful to have you as a friend!
Love ya!

What beautiful boys! They look so much alike.

I just got finished reading part of the blog with that sick little boy and my heart broke. It truly makes you appreciate what you have been blessed with and all the unimportant things you worry about in life.

Thanks for being such a great example, you truly amaze me! You are such a great mommy!
